Happiness, Islamic Psychology

Happiness is a required condition for subjective well-being. Happiness that contains the meaning of life in the real world is a condition that is expected by all parties to be carried out in harmony, both intrapersonally and interpersonally. Western modern psychology and Islamic psychology highlight happiness from various points of view which the authors elaborate in a complementary analysis. Happiness, which was examined carefully by Western psychologists, which later emerged as the main discussion of positive psychology, refers to the verses of the kauniyah concerning happiness with its various components and variations. Islamic psychology examines happiness by verifying every phenomenon experienced by humans in the world by referring to the Qur'an and Hadith as a source of knowledge as well as a blueprint for Muslims throughout the world. It is hoped that the stability of the balance of worldly and ukhrawi individuals which has an impact on the stability of the body and spirit is expected to always be maintained towards the achievement of subjective well-being which is always happy with good morals and happiness with the greatest benefit for fellow human beings.
